Today me and my class went to the 90 mile beach . It was amazing because we went on a hunt we had to find things on the beach it was fun but first we had to get into groups it was girls and boys

Today we got to go to the te Paki sand dunes we sled down them I zoomed down like the flash it was amazing

It was so funny how you were always trying to find a way to put us asleep with your calming videos. I really appreciate your patience with us. You would have to wait for us old grandmas to hurry up in the shower.

Bullrush

 

WALT we are creating a script for our movie making

                            Bullrush

I was playing bullrush with all of my family

       When I heard a humongous boom All my family faded into smoke 

my heart shattered

Into bits  I ran inside and went to sleep because I thought I was in a dream I woke up, everyone was still gone, my heart was pumping like someone riding a bull.It was terrifying .I went to my neighbours house no one was there. I went back home just in case they would return. No one came, days went by. No, one came back. I had Breakfast,lunch and dinner. I went out . It started to get late. I got some things from the store but no one was there . As I was walking I herd a crack behind my back . There were four kids standing behind me. They  just stood there. And that changed my life !!!

Holiday writing - Show not tell

Writing  Learning outcome.

To rewrite a piece of my recount [Holiday writing] with show sentences and not tell sentences. 

The lagoon was freezing cold, it was like an ice block.. When I hopped in goose bumps appeared because it was freezing cold. When we hopped out I got changed  and I went for a walk with my nana and my cousin. While we were walking we found out that Maungapiko echoes. So I opened my mouth as wide as I could and screamed.

His orange eyebrows look like dried up carrots on his forehead.His makeup is crazy like his personality 

His hair is wild like the wild west;  because it hasn't been brushed.He smells like old fish because he does not wash his clouth 

He sounds like a toy bear

and makeup tastes like bee honey with magic powder in it.

His hair taste like fanta bubbling by my moth
